SKI TRIP FORMS DUE TONIGHT
The ski trip permission forms are due tonight, with check and waiver. If you want to go, haven’t turned in a form and will not be there tonight, please let me know by Friday, January 29th if you want to go.
NRA SHOOTING SPORTS CAMP June 4 – 6, 2010
June 4-6, 2010 are the dates for the Howell NRA Youth Shooting Camp. This is an event for senior scouts only, NO EXCEPTIONS. It is limited to 100 people and registration fills up immediately. Registration is starts February 1st, so I need to know by then if you want to go. Registration forms from the camp are available Feb. 1, and I will download them, forward by email and expect them back asap to insure we get in. Sorry for late notice, they just announced the dates last week, and we have to wait for the forms.
THIS EVENT IS FOR SCOUTS THAT HAVE ACHIEVED FIRST CLASS RANK AS OF JANUARY 1st 2010. Space is limited for this Camp, the roster will be determined by the 2009 Troop 41 Outing Attendance.
We need adults to help, trip leaves June 4th at 4pm, return June 6th at 7pm.

NEW 2010 SCOUT PACKETS
Our 2010 edition of the scout packet full of information and forms will be handed out tonight. Again, ask your scout for it, keep it in a safe place.
WEBSITE UPDATED
Our troop website has been updated with forms and information. Some of the functions are new and exciting, like the calendar. Please visit the site and use it as an informational resource. Thanks to Jeff Vilimek and Ken McClurg who have put in a lot of time and effort to update it.
FIRST AID MERIT BADGE OFFERED
(First Aid and CPR Certification)
February 27th 2010, 8:00am to 1:30pm
Cost $50.00
Forms will be handed out at tonight’s meeting. This opportunity is for Scouts that have been in the troop for at least one year. Scouts must have current knowledge of the First-Aid requirements for Tenderfoot, Second Class, and First Class Ranks to sign up for this Merit Badge. The First Aid CPR Certification Class will be at First Congregational Church in the Confirmation Room on the lower level. A Continental Breakfast and Sandwich Lunch are included. There are 15 seats available. The order of preference in filling this class will be based on troop seniority, whether Scout or Scout Leader.
Permission form and $50 fee (payable to Boy Scout Troop 41) are due by the February 9th Troop Meeting. Absolute latest is February 13th. Questions? Click Carol Charniak.
